HT Instruments PVCHECKs‑PRO – Multifunction Commissioning Tester (1500 V / 40 A)

The PVCHECKs‑PRO is a robust, installer‑grade tester engineered to carry out complete safety and commissioning measurements on photovoltaic systems up to 1500 VDC and 40 A, in full compliance with IEC/EN 62446‑1 standards. With a single GO‑key operation, it runs all required tests—voc, isc, insulation, polarity, continuity—and supports seamless auto‑sequential testing across multiple strings.

Key Capabilities

• Open‑circuit voltage (Voc) up to 1500 V and short‑circuit current (Isc) up to 40 A on mono‑ or bifacial PV modules and strings 

• Insulation resistance testing at selectable DC voltages: 250 / 500 / 1000 / 1500 V, with Polarization Index (PI) and Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR) calculations 

• Ground Fault Locator (GFL) function to pinpoint insulation failures quickly within a string 

• Continuity of protective conductor testing with 200 mA current to ensure earthing integrity, plus polarity checks 

• Auto‑sequence mode enables the testing of all strings in a combiner box with a single button press 

Advanced Features

• Compatible with the optional SOLAR03 remote module (Bluetooth) to enable irradiance measurement using HT305 reference cell and temperature sensing with PT305 probe—allowing extrapolation to STC conditions

• Rated CAT III 1000 VAC / 1500 VDC, ensuring industry-standard safety compliance 

• Backlit LCD with inline Help key for guided operation and diagnostics 

• Internal storage for up to 999 test results and a database of up to 64 PV module profiles for on-site efficiency comparisons

• Supports Wi‑Fi and optical/USB connectivity, compatible with HTANALYSIS App and PC software for data export and analysis
