The SOLAR‑02 is a field-ready remote sensor unit designed to measure irradiance, module temperature, ambient temperature, and tilt angle for photovoltaic installations. It pairs with HT’s master I‑V testers such as I‑V 400w and SOLAR I‑V series to enable synchronized, high‑precision PV performance analysis, either via USB or RF wireless connection (2.4 GHz, Class 1 compliant).
Measures irradiance using PYRA or reference cell inputs (Irr-P / Irr-S2) within 0–1400 W/m² range, ±1.0% basic accuracy
Monitors cell temperature via PT300N probe (–20 °C to 99.9 °C; ±1.0% rdg +1 °C), and ambient temperature on display
Built-in inclinometer mode measures module tilt from 1°–90° (±1° accuracy) as part of alignment checks
Supports up to three irradiance probes, permitting multi-sensor setups and averaging
Standalone or synchronized mode: Works independently, or connects to HT master instruments via USB (M‑USB) or RF (M‑RF) for synchronized recording during testing workflows
Water-resistant (IP65 rated) construction with magnetic mount for stable field attachment (e.g. on module surface)
