SolarEdge BI-NUSGN-01 (Backup Interface / Import-Export Meter)

The BI-NUSGN-01 is SolarEdge’s hybrid backup interface designed for seamless integration with the SolarEdge Home Hub / StorEdge systems. It acts as both an import/export meter and an energy routing interface, enabling full or partial home backup during grid outages while mediating power flow under normal conditions.

• Load-Side Installation (No Main Breaker Needed)
  The BI-NUSGN-01 is the “load-side” version, meaning it installs between the main panel and loads, without requiring the main breaker to be altered. 

• High Backup Capability
  Supports short-term surge (peak) AC power during backup operation — up to ~7,000 W for < 10 seconds. 

• Robust Construction & Compatibility

  • 240 V nominal AC output, 60 Hz frequency matching U.S. grid standards
